Since 2017 I have been employed as a Professional Loss Control Consultant, helping organizations to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could lead to insurance claims or financial loss. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Visit client sites to inspect buildings, operations, equipment, and work practices for potential hazards.
• Evaluate Safety Practices: Review safety policies, employee training programs, maintenance schedules, and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, NFPA).
• Recommend Improvements: Provide detailed reports with customized recommendations to improve safety, prevent losses, and comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate with Underwriters: Work closely with insurance underwriters to assess the level of risk associated with insuring a business or property.
• Stay Current on Regulations: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and risk mitigation techniques.
